How to prevent the ghost call

Htek phone support the following ways to prevent the ghost calls .


1.Anonymous Call Rejection

Reject incoming calls from callers who have hidden their phone number and name(their User ID(Username) is anonymous).
Login Phone’s web Page->Profile->Advanced -> Anonymous Call Rejection:set to Yes


2.Check SIP User ID
Login Phone’s web Page -> Profile-> Advanced -> Check SIP User ID: Set to Always Check-> Saveset


 
"Always Check": SIP User ID will be checked in the Request URI of the incoming INVITE. If it doesn't match the phone's SIP User ID, the call will be rejected

"Auotmatic": If the extension don't registered and the phone receive the IP call, the call will be rejected


Through the above two steps to prevent ghost call.
