Configure the record function
Configure the record mode on the web page
Log in to the phone web page, click Settings-Preference: Record Mode, and enable the recording function.
There are three recording modes: Disable, Manual Mode and Silent Mode. The default mode is Disable.
Record Mode | Description |

Disable | It disables the record function. |
Manual Mode | During a call, you need to manually click Start Rec button. The call page displays the Start Rec, Pause Rec and Stop Rec buttons. |
Silent Mode | Recording starts automatically when a call is in progress and ends automatically when the call ends. There is no recording prompt or recording button on the call page. |
Configure the record mode via XML file
Download the XML configuration file of the phone.
Modify the P value in the XML configuration file.

Description | The maximum storage limit for recording files, in GB, defaults to 0, which is 1/4 of the storage space, 1GB ≈ 9hours. 0 - Indicates setting the upper limit of recording file storage to 1/4 of the current device storage space. 1、2、3..... - Indicates setting the upper limit of recording file storage to 1, 2, 3...G. When the upper limit is set too large (larger than the remaining space of the storage device), the actual upper limit is the remaining space of the storage device. |

Import the modified XML file.
Note:
When USB Storage is selected as the Record Storage Device, the recording function can only be used when the USB flash drive is inserted.
When <P25098 para="USBRecord_Enable">1</P25098>
and <P25252 para="Preference_RecStoreType">1</P25252>,
if no USB flash drive is inserted, the LCD will not display the recording button.
Use the Recording Function
Modify the record mode to Manual Mode/Silent Mode, select the record storage device as Inner Storage/USB Storage, fill in the Record Storage Limit(GB) and save the configuration.
Manual Mode
After the phone establishes a call, you need to manually start recording. Swipe left on the call page and click Start Rec.
After recording starts, the recording prompt and available recording time will be displayed below the LCD, and the recording button will be displayed above the LCD.
You can check the recording time in the drop-down box, and also can click Pause Rec/Stop Rec.
Click the Pause Rec button, and the drop-down box will show that the recording time has been paused. Click Resume Rec to continue recording.
Click End Call or Stop Rec to end the recording.
After recording is finished, the recording file is automatically saved to the storage path.
Silent Mode
After the phone establishes a call, it will automatically record. The call page will not display buttons such as Start/Pause/Stop Rec, and there will be no prompt indicating that recording is in progress. When the call ends, the recording will automatically end and the recording file will be saved.

Field analysis
A/D: Answer/Dial, identifies the attributes of this recording.
Number: The number of the call partner.
Example: On July 17, 2024, at 00:55:29, the phone calls 1124 and records the call.
The recording file name is: 20240717-005529-D-1124.wav

Play recording files
Play recording files by storage path
After entering the storage path, click on the recording file to play it.
Play recording files by history
If a recording file is generated during a call, you can go to the history and click the icon 
to view and play the recording file.
The history will be associated with all the recording files generated by the call. You can switch the recording files of the call by using the left and right switch keys.
