You can manage device configurations by customizing configuration templates and classifying them by the model of devices. You can update the configuration by setting the parameters in the template or in the text.
On the Page of Model Configuration

Add a Model Configuration Template
You can add a model configuration template based on the model in Device Management -> Device Model. After a template has been added, you can update the parameters in it and push it to devices.
Procedure
Click Configuration Management -> Model Configuration.
Click +Add button on the top left corner.
Enter the file name and choose the device model. You can also add remarks.
Name | (Required & Unique) The name of the model template. |
Device Model | (Required & Unique) Choose a device model. Note: The model must be uploaded in Device Management -> Device Management in advance. Check this LINK. |
Remarks | (Optional) You can make some notes here. |
Click Confirm button.
Update Parameters of a Model Configuration Template and Push
After you add a template of a model, you can update the parameters of a template in TWO ways:
by a template
by text
Set Parameters by a Template
1.Click Configuration Management ->Model Configuration.
2.Click on the right side of a template.
3.Check the box and enter the configuration parameters in the template.
e.g. You want to change the LCD Language to English. In the template, click Settings -> Preferences -> check the box of LCD Language -> choose English in the drop down menu -> Confirm.
Click Confirm button. The popup will show the tips: Update the device configuration now?
If you click Confirm, you can choose devices to provision. Then click Push To Update. If you click Cancel, the changes will be saved in the template.
Set Parameters by Text
Click Configuration Management -> Model Configuration.
Click on the right side of the site configuration and choose Config Text.
Enter the configuration parameters to be updated.
You can update any parameters supported by the device in the text setting parameters. The input text parameters must meet the standard format.
e.g. If you want to change the language of LCD of the device to English, in the Config text, you should type
<P8621 para="Preference_LcdLanguage">0</P8621>
then click Confirm. Just Like the figure below.
Then, you can click -> View Params to check the changes. Like the figure below, the parameters of the template have changed.
Click Confirm button. Please Choose Device page will pop-up. Check the boxes before devices, which you want to provision.
If you click Confirm, you can choose devices to provision. Then click Push To Update. If you click Cancel, the changes will be saved in the template.
Push a Model Configuration Template to Devices
You can push a model template to devices depending on their model.
Click Configuration Management -> Model Configuration.
Click on the right side of the site template.
Select devices to be pushed.
Choose Task Execution Mode -> Confirm.
Edit a Model Configuration Template
You can update the name and the mode of a template you have added in the list.
Click Configuration Management -> Site Configuration.
Click on the right side of the configuration and choose Update.
Edit the name, the model or remarks of the configuration.
Click Confirm button.
View the Updated Parameters of a Model Configuration Template
You can view the parameters you have updated in a template.
Procedure
1.Click Configuration Management -> Model Configuration.
2.Click on the right side of a template and choose View Params. You can view the name, type and value of parameters you have updated.

Catalog | The place the parameter belongs to. |
Value | The value you have updated. |
Download a Model Configuration Template
You can download the configuration to view the updated configuration of the model.
Click Configuration Management -> Site Configuration.
Click on the right side of the model configuration and choose Download.
Delete Model Configuration Templates
1. Click Configuration Management -> Site Configuration.
2. Delete one configuration or more.
a) Click on the right of the site model you want to delete.
b) Click Confirm button.

a) Check the boxes of the templates you want to delete.
b) Click Delete button.
c) Click Confirm button.
