Manage Configuration

You can create configuration templates by the model of a device, by group, by site and by MAC. After the templates are created, you can push them to devices. You can check the result of pushing via Task Management -> Executed Task. Check this SECTION for more info about Task.

Introduction of Obtaining a Configuration

After the devices are connected to HDMS, they can automatically obtain the configuration on HDMS if the following scenario occurs:

When you connect the device to HDMS for the first time
When you reset the device back to factory
When you reboot the device

Global (from Device Management -> Device Model) < Parent Site < Current Site < MAC

Manual

For the devices existing on HDMS, they would not automatically obtain the updated configuration. So you need to push the configuration to them.

The configuration you push later has higher priority.
