When creating a new virtual machine of CentOS in VMware, you should select the ISO file, which contains HDMS.
Open the virtual machine and type “nuke” at bottom and wait for the end of the process of installing.
Select OK and type “exit”. Wait for the system to reboot.
After the system has rebooted, type username and password to log into the backend of the server.
Now you can log into HDMS initialization page by the IP of the server and the port number. You can type “ifconfig” in the command line of the server to know its ip address
e.g. http://[ip]:8080
Type in new passwords for the database and SSL. Passwords should be at least 8 digits and contain upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters, like “@”.
