Download Backup Logs

When analyzing the cause of device fault, downloading log is a common diagnostic method. When the user interface of the device cannot be logged in, you can download the backup log in the management system (the system will regularly back up the log of the deployed device).

1.Click Device Diagnosis.

2.Enter the MAC address of the device and click Start Diagnosis button.

Detect Network

There are TWO ways for detection network:

  • Ping (ICMP Echo):Check whether the terminal can establish contact with the specified remote IP address.

  • Trace route: Check the network nodes that the terminal passes through to the specified remote IP address and the time spent on each node.

The Ping function sends a packet to the target IP address, and then asks the other party to return a packet of the same size to determine whether the terminal device is connected to the target IP. The diagnostic results include a brief statistics of packets received, as well as the minimum, maximum and average round-trip times of packets.

If you use the Trace route function, the diagnosis interface will display the network nodes passed by the terminal to the destination IP address and the time spent on each node. You can check whether congestion occurs.

1.Click Device Diagnosis.

2.Enter the MAC address of the device and click Start Diagnosis button.

3.Click Detection Network button.

4.Choose Ping (ICMP Echo) or Trace route.

5.Enter the IP address or domain name.
