You can deploy and manage the firmware in the Firmware Group. HDMS supports customizing the category and name of the firmware, and also supports uploading and pushing the firmware to devices.

Add a Firmware Group

You can divide firmware into different groups. Every group has a unique label so that you can manage a certain type of firmware centrally.

1．Click Device Management -> Firmware Group.

2．Click +Add button.

3．Enter the information of firmware group.

4．Click Confirm button.

On the Page of a Specific Firmware Group

Add Firmware

1．Click Device Management -> Firmware Group.

2．Click  image-20240710-021715.png  on the right side of a group.

3．Click +Add button on the top left corner.

4．Enter the information and upload the firmware.

Firmware Name

(Required) The name of the firmware.

Firmware Version

(Required) The version of the firmware.

Supporting Model

(Required) The models uploaded in Device Model will be shown.

File

(Required) Upload .rom file.

Remarks

(Optional)

5．Click Confirm button.

Push Firmware to Devices

This function is mainly used to upgrade the firmware version of the device, so the device will restart on time and upgrade to a new version after successful pushing.

1．Click Device Management -> Firmware Group.

2．Click  image-20240710-021908.png  on the right side of the group.

3．Click  image-20240710-021943.png  on the right side of the firmware.

4．Select the device to be pushed. The device information can be filtered by the device model, MAC and device name. The selected device will be displayed on the right side of the pop-up box.

5．Click Push To Update button.

6．Select the execution mode of push update in the pop-up box.

  • At Once: Firmware will be pushed to device, and device will update immediately.

  • Timing: Enter the Task Name and Execution Time. Then choose one option at Repeat. Device will update at execution time.

7．Click Confirm button.

Edit the Info of Firmware

1．Click Device Management -> Firmware Group.

2．Click  image-20240710-022035.png  on the right side of the group.

3．Click  image-20240710-022040.png  on the right side of the firmware.

4．Edit information. Please delete the old firmware before you upload a new one.

5．Click Confirm button.

Download Firmware

1．Click Device Management -> Firmware Group.

2．Click image-20240710-022055.png  on the right side of the group.

3．Click  image-20240710-022100.png  on the right side of the firmware and click .rom to download firmware. Or you can click image-20240710-022108.png  on the right side of the firmware.

4．Save firmware as a local file.

Delete Firmware

1．Click Device Management -> Firmware Group.

2．Click  image-20240710-022121.png  on the right side of the group.

3．Click  image-20240710-022126.png  on the right side of the firmware. Popup will show the tips: Confirm Delete?

4．Click Confirm button.
